About Us
Glenorie Bakery was founded by my father Tazzy, in 1994, when our shop in Turramurra was closed due to a centre remodel. Great timing because a bakery was well needed in my hometown of Glenorie as we had nothing else available and it gave me something to before and after school.
My mum would help out at the shop ans would come across to my school and bring me fresh pizza and pies for lunch, it was great.
The shop’s service ans products speak for themselves, so soon after establishment word of mouth created a successful small business.
In 2005 my father asked if I would like to come back into the family busies and run the shop at Glenorie, I accepted and so we relocated to the shopping village across the road where we still trade today. It was a big change for me as I had been studying and working in landscaping and horticulture for 3 years, but bread it’s in my blood. I have been around it all my life and I think I will be surrounded by it for the rest of my life, it is a passion I didn’t realise I had until I took over Glenorie Bakery and it shows through the rapid expansion ans growth of the business in the last few years.
We have been voted Business of the Year, Sydney’s No.1 sausage roll & No.1 pie in NSW. We have baked Australia’s longest sausage roll and are working on the world’s biggest cupcake.
We will continue to be trendsetters and pioneers in the industry, pushing boundaries whether it be with cutting edge technology or new innovative ideas.
See you at our Bakery!
Cheers
